LFTM Central NY Fiber Arts Festival and New York Fiber Conference with Paulie Drexler

Last night’s episode of Live from the Mill is now available for a re-watch on YouTube:

In this episode, we welcome guest Paulie Drexler, one of the board members for the Central New York Fiber Arts Festival and an organizer for the New York State Fiber Conference, which occurs on the second day of the festival. We had Paulie on to talk specifically about the Conference, which is a new offering this year and a great opportunity for hopeful fiber growers within New York.

The New York State Fiber Conference happens June 11, 2023 at the same location as the Central New York Fiber Arts Festival (Butternut Hill Campground in Bouckville, NY). While the CNYFF has fun for the whole family, shopping, and many sheep and wool events, this workshop represents an opportunity for new or beginning fiber farmers raising various animals to learn how to navigate the industry, produce, sell and advertise their high-quality products, and take advantage of the many opportunities for them in New York!

This workshop begins at 9 AM and runs until 4 PM and has an incredible range of speakers and presenters—be sure to check out the full agenda on the registration page here. Registration is required and spaces are limited to only 50 participants. Registration has been extended until June 5th or until spaces are full.
