Battenkill Fibers is a community of fiber lovers that extends far beyond the doors of our mill building. We are proud to be involved at a local, regional, and national level with a variety of organizations dedicated to supporting and reviving domestic textile production.
We believe that education and information are critical components in the success of regional fiber movements, and dedicate a portion of each work day to creating and sharing resources that support these efforts.

Our Live from the Mill (LFTM) series began as a way for our team to connect one on one with our Instagram followers from around the world. Now, it’s morphed into a way we can share behind the scenes at the mill but also behind the scenes on projects, by introducing you to all of the interesting and engaging people we work with!

Community Zoom Series
Strong businesses have great support systems–and we’d like to be a part of yours. Once a month, we schedule a special presentation with a subject matter expert on something related to fiber, farming or business, and invite our mill partners to join in and learn something new with us. These presentations are often recorded and can be re-watched on our YouTube channel.
