We will be accepting fiber for custom fiber processing at the NH Sheep and Wool Festival!
CNY Fiber Festival
Battenkill Fibers has a booth at the show both days June 8 and 9. Come see us and drop off your fiber for processing!
We won’t be setting up until early Saturday morning, but if you can only drop off on Friday night, that’s fine, just leave your wool in our empty corner of the tent; and when we get there with the truck on Saturday we will load it up.
We will also be helping with the Cornell Animal Fiber Conference on Sunday June 9 at the Festival. It looks like it will be a great program again this year including a panel discussion on NY Grown and Certified program and the benefits of being a part of it from farm to factory to retail shop. On Sunday afternoon we will be doing a hands on skirting intensive as part of the conference. Pre-registration is required.

New York Sheep & Wool Festival
Join us for the 2023 New York State Sheep & Wool Festival, affectionately known as “Sheep and Wool” or “Rhinebeck”, or by our team, “No Sleep and Wool”. This is one of the most high-energy shows of the year and always feels like a celebration of fall and wool. Battenkill Fiber Mill will have a booth in our usual spot up the hill and between the long barns. Wool pick up and drop off are encouraged at this show.

Battenkill Fibers won’t have a booth at VT Sheep & Wool, but many of our friends are attending. You can drop off fiber at the Kingdom Fleece & Fiberworks booth.
Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival

Central New York Fiber Festival
We’ll have a booth at Central New York Fiber Festival this year loaded with mill goodies, and Mary Jeanne is teaching a workshop, too!
